Our flagship product hit the market — the first wireless barcode scanning system built from the ground up for dealership parts departments.
Expanded into vehicle inventory management and lot tracking for new and used car departments.
Added GPS tracking and telematics to our product line, giving dealerships real-time vehicle location and diagnostics.
Partnered with American Honda Motor Co. to integrate ScanIt Parts with Honda's Interactive Network. Parts invoices and shipments flow directly into the DMS — no manual steps. Same year, IPS joined STAR, the global IT standards body for retail automotive.
Moved into a 12,000 sq ft facility in Grand Blanc, Michigan — purpose-built for software development, hardware repair, and customer support.
Added Chrysler/Stellantis shipment data and expanded OEM partnerships. Dealers receive manufacturer parts data directly — no keypunching, no errors.
Rebuilt ScanIt Parts from the ground up on Android, replacing the legacy Windows CE platform. Faster hardware, touchscreen displays, and a modern foundation that paved the way for cloud connectivity.
ScanIt Parts moved to the cloud. Real-time dashboards, remote access, automatic updates, and enterprise multi-store management — all without on-site servers.
Launched PickIt (order picking) and PackIt (container packing) — turning parts departments into complete fulfillment operations with priority routing, zone-based picking, and real-time tracking.
Integrated with 7 major DMS platforms. Supporting automotive, powersports, and heavy-duty dealers. In-house hardware sales, repair, and support for every device we ship.
